Training

 

People do not care how much you know until they know how much you care.  As trainers our job is to work out where you are starting from and take you to where you need to go.  Along the way we will teach you as much as you can absorb.  We aim to make it a satisfying and enjoyable experience.  

 

We specialise in providing more technical training so while we may be proficient in the use of Word and PowerPoint we relish the challenge of teaching you the meaning and use of Pivot Tables in Excel or how to create a useful front end to your Access database or how to link Tasks, Resources and Costs in Project.  We can also help you integrate information that is stored in different forms; Word, Excel etc.  We can show you how to display data stored in Excel in a report written in Word.  Many people are familiar with doing Mail Merge, but do not realise that they can access information that is stored in Access, Excel, Outlook or even another Word document.  

 

Microsoft Office offers a very flexible set of tools and we aim to be flexible with our training delivery so that we can accommodate the fact that “you cannot ask about that which you don’t know exists”.

 

We can also supply quick reference guides from Nevada so that you have a handy reference after the training when you are back at work.  We also offer free email and telephone support in case you need help once you are back in the office.  It is only once the trainer has left and you are back in the office on your own that you really get to integrate what you have learnt in the training.  This can be quite unnerving so it is good to know that help is just an email or phone call away.
