Introduction

Types of training

The typical style for business has been to send your staff away for a day or two and have them "filled up" with information about a particular software package. The downside with this approach is that the people are out of the office for the whole day and they are likely to cover a host of items which are not relevant to their needs. The other alternative is for the staff to go to college in the evening and in a large group, typically between 10 and 16 people to absorb as much as they can. The downside with this approach is that they will not get personal attention and may also resent having to ‘work’ in their own time.

The other style of teaching is one to one. They get training focused on their needs, which can evolve as they learn more, no standard format here. The effectiveness of the training lies more with the trainers ability to focus on the trainees needs and abilities. The cost need not be prohibitive, they may only need a couple of hours training. You can also guarantee that the training they receive will be highly relevant and easier to remember after the trainer walks out the door.

What else do I get for my money?

In addition to having the training at any time of the morning, afternoon or evening Monday to Sunday, we also offer free telephone support. This means you can relax during the training and make sure you understand what is being taught, knowing you can always phone later if you need a reminder or a clarification of something. If something is a bit too complex for you to follow, we can also provide it written down, step by step.
